| Finished watching OC S4 over the long weekend... i know i am supposed to be studying... but what else can i do since my psp was confiscated? and since the OC disc was lying ard collecting dust... so might as well... anyway i wasnt looking forward to the final season... cos S3 was a total disaster i think... but nevertheless... i cant watch something halfway and stop...but i think S4 deserved more credit than what critics have gave...or maybe im juz plain sad that i would no longer see my summer anymore... The last season was not too bad on the whole... things were more refreshing than its predecessor... lesser teen angst... and more life doubts... the season started showing how everyone was coping with Marissa's death... and that part was kinda draggy... because every episode was like the same... but in the end... everyone sort of grieved and got on wif their lives... a surprising character was Taylor... whom i have actually grown a liking to... she used to be this controlling bossy bitch in S3... but it kinda got in check and now she's pretty cute...esp when she rattle non-stop... pretty hot too... then there's julie cooper and her daughter... two of them were diff too...which im glad to say it was a good diff..haha... anyway the ending was abit abrupt but i guess tat's how the writers wanted everything to end off... it was pretty sad watchin the last esp... i guess for every good thing that happened... it must end somday... somehow... p.s. check out unaware by midway state... awsome song... but there's 2 diff version of the songs- one frm the album and one from the show... which actually sounded totally diff except for the chorus... | | |
| I watched music and lyrics with babe a couple of weeks ago...drew barrymore's character said something abt the music and lyrics....she said tat the melody of a song is like a person's physical appearance:- it's something you tend to look to gather ur 1st impression of the person/song... liking the melody is like a one night stand...whereby if u continue looking into a person's personality and essence... that's the lyrics... i kinda like tat analogy she used... because i do that... anyway i ended up looking thru my old songs and re-listenin to them...and then searching for new albums of these bands... i have to confess... i think i still prefer their old debut album... somehow it felt more sincere...old albums i've listened and compared and loved the used(2002) taking back sunday: tell all your friends (2002) juliana theory: understand this is a dream (1999) emotion is dead (2000) anymore? | | |
| took 199 out of sch juz now... was passing through the normal route tat it takes (duh?!)... time was 20:36 i closed my eyes and started to imagine that i was on bus 172 wif the guys to JP for dinner or to buy fake jerseys... for a while... i felt i was back in army... no schools... no deadlines... no exams... no girls... it felt really good for that 10-15 seconds i was really happy... and then i had to open my eyes | | |
| you have no idea how long it took me to write down this sentence. I've always have trouble to open a blog entry. I've always wanted to be witty, be impactful or controversial to gain attention of the readers. Mostly it's more of a dull. Well anyway... welcome to another meaningless blog. The haze has been pretty bad for the last couple of days... and i guess tat is kinda taking a toil on my sensitive body... throat's been irritating me non-stop... and my respiratory has decided to do part time too... anyway i think the haze has not been this terrrible since 96 or 97... a good decade... oh yes... and today is my dad's birthday... let me take some time off staring at my monitor and wish him a happy birthday... altho i didnt say it to him face to face... but the tots still count... whatever... i bumped into JJ, boey and cel all in a day...and i tot this muz be the most happening day of my life in a long long while... and on my way hme...i saw this couple... prob in their 40s...quarrelling at the platform of YCK mrt...i am certain that they were having a screaming match... altho i am not sure wat was it abt... cos i was listening to my songs...and hey... im not such a busybody...anyway i was walkin towards the escalator when they decided that a punching match would heat up the situation... they were so close to me that i was pretty sure that they might juz accidentially push me down to the tracks... ok im out... | Currently Watching Thank You for Smoking By Aaron Eckhart, Maria Bello, Cameron Bright, Adam Brody, Sam Elliott, Katie Holmes, David Koechner, Rob Lowe, William H.
